Office fun

This is the official HeadCount office. It is definitely smaller than a breadbox, but there is a color copier. And two Dells.
This weekend I am playing at The GreenLight Festival in Ansonia, CT. So are people like Toby Goodshank, Kyle Gilbride, The Age of Rockets, Fire Flies, Paper and Sand, and way more. It is an all day outdoor shindig. You can get tickets here. Cool.

Rainy sunday
I had to work a She & Him show for HeadCount last night at Terminal 5. Asking hipters if they need to register to vote in gigantic, dark venues is a little bit terrifying for me. A nice surprise was that a band I used to listen to a lot, The Rosebuds, was one of their openers. They were really good live! And I think I got about 10 people to register to vote..
Then I went to Kyle’s to say happy 21st birthday! He looked like this:
Sleepy and drinking coffee by midnight.

Web Designer 4 Hire
Ok ok, I think it’s time to start a freelance web design bizne$$, as I am always eating cans of soup instead of giant delicious meals. So. If you know anyone who needs a website designed and coded… click on the bun and spread the word…?

RECORD PARTY
AS SHOWN ABOVE, DANIELLE and I are making a two song 7″ and today has been a pretty fun recording fest. The song we are working on has been on the shelf for over a year, and we are now attacking it with bass and electric guitar and keys and fun. Up until now it was pretty much just a little acoustic guitar ditty with Gau slamming drums along with it. Now I am starting to follow through on my hope of having as many friends as possible play on my songs. I am super psyched for this, though I feel like a lot of it is because I want to work hard on sick vinyl artwork packaging. I think Marlene is down to design some things and I only wish colored vinyl was a little less crazy expensive. I also really like these two songs and they will never be released on full length, so I want to make this really special.
